The National Community Solar Partnership's Goal:
Is to enable Community Solar Systems to power the equivalent of five million households by 2025 and create
$1 billion in energy savings for subscribers.

Thank you for visiting our site and showing your community support for local clean energy production.
The idea of forming "The New York Clean Energy Alliance" stemmed from five years of experience in the community solar industry. As a subscriber organizer, my role involves finding, educating, and enrolling community members in local community solar projects.
From my first day in the industry to the present, a consistent comment from 90% of the hundreds of electricity customers I've assisted is: "What is community solar? It sounds too good to be true. Let me do some research."
Once we explain to consumers how it actually works and they completely understand: Community Solar is a state-run program offering benefits to participating electricity customers triggers an "Aha!" moment.
By joining a local community solar project, they will receive monthly bill credits and stop overpaying for electricity.
Our goal is to continually create that "Aha!" moment by educating consumers on a large scale and enrolling New Yorkers interested in saving money and the planet into local clean energy initiatives such as Community Solar.
